For a diehard apple fan, that's a wise choice.

The S7 is actually more expensive than the iPhone 7. It's $900 and the iPhone is $700. Which is entirely too much fucking money for a phone when I can get any other smartphone which works just as well, has a headphones jack, and doesn't have an exploding battery, for several hundred dollars less.

And yet automobiles that suck dominate the car markets and computers that sucks dominate their markets as well. People like Samsung phones because they're incredibly tough to break and they have absurdly long battery life, which is apparently the only two important factors when buying a phone.

@BlueMetalChick: those cars and computers sell because they're so cheap. High end galaxy phones aren't selling because of an attractive price point.
My biggest issue with apple is they're insistence on keeping everything proprietary.

As in, an Apple phone can only download music from iTunes and can only use Apple made programs like Safari and can only use systems made by Apple? Yeah, that's kinda bullshit. Which is one of the things I hate about Mac computers. Don't get me wrong, Mac is excellent if you edit a lot of video and audio, but I don't do that, so there's not much reason for me to use one.

@sicksack: Oh yeah Nexus phones are pretty good stuff. They're delicate as hell but if you can get a good case, they're serious business.

@sicksack: iPhone 6/6S was solid as hell. I'm not sure at all what more they wanted to add in iPhone 7 other than a new camera. I have a Xiamoi right now, which works kick ass, but I've used iPhone in the past, and I never understood the obsession with minimal customization options that do nothing for the phone.
