Why current computers that are been sold default os are installed with windows.

I dislike windows...

- BSOD
- Force Updates
- Viruses
- Pricey Office Programs

Once there was a choice with what OS you had, but now it's Microsoft Windows 10 and that's it. And you can't even control the updates anymore. Windows update service is greyed out and it will update when it wants to, even in the middle of a boss fight during a game.. it doesn't care .

@SW-User I wish i had the option, to purchase laptop without a os. If it comes with discount that would be great!

@SW-User I <3 linux. Especially lxde lightweight operating system. With lighter os i get more juice out of the hardware.

@Thanos It's not possible anymore, the service is greyed out. I even changed the registry entry and took ownership of the service and denied access to the system, but it had no effect.
