I have an Android. Is anybody experiencing disappearing text messages?

I noticed some missing messages a couple of times and I am the only one who handles my phone. I am noticing particularly pictures being deleted… Both pictures that I have received and pictures that I have sent.

That happens on my phone all the time. Messages in a text conversation will randomly disappear. Sometimes who threads will disappear from my inbox. But that's not the ONLY problem this so-called "smart" phone has >_>

Mms are time restricted.
