Do you think, ancient civilizations knew more about more about space than us?

Ancient civilizations gave it a religious angle because they do look at it from a scientific perspective!

However, researches on ancient civilizations do conclude that people of the past civilizations did have close encounters!

Ancient Egypt, Ancient India and Mayan civilization is full of it!

Documents of Leonardo Da Vinci and Galileo Galilei speak of it!

What do you think about that?

No, they didn't know anything about it.
@SW-User I respect your answer!

Though, I beg to differ!

It is because of the knowledge passed from generations to generations that humans know a lot!

Else, we would still be ape-like creatures!

@ExplorerofInfiniteSpaces people knew almost nothing about the world until the scientific revolution and the availability of printed books. They spent all that time looking at stars and planets and the Milky Way, with absolutely no idea what any of it was, how old or how far it was. In fact, they didn't know what anything around them was.
@SW-User I beg to differ again!

Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, Hebrew texts and carvings of old architectural wonders across the globe tell a lot about the life up there!

The compass discovered in Greece a few years ago turned out be a mechanical computing device!

Early man too communicated by drawing on stones!

Our ancestors left behind a mystery for us to unlock!

They did have good idea about science and technology even then!

They just gave the name God to most of the alien entities!

🙂
