How do ants learn?

They’re part of a hive, I know that much but how does a baby ant know what it’s supposed to do? How do they coordinate so well?

It's probably learned behavior, I mean when we're kids we don't have individual thought either. What I mean by that is, a lot of people are indoctrinated into whatever religion or values the family holds. Some people break away from it but others don't for a fear of being shunned.

Ants are collective so if they have no individual free will I could imagine the baby just learns by habit and it's pre-instilled in them somehow.
