About making the online thing safer

I have been wondering if it’s a very fool idea to think that many of the problems and crimes online could be lessened by forcing any user to give the real personal identification, other way, they are not allowed to have internet.
Is it very stupid or impossible? I ask from a vague idea about how this stuff works.

I see how many times, the police struggles a lot to find a person behind an online user, for instance.

It would be possible, but the end of internet as we know it. Everything you said could be used against you. Besides, it means considering all internet users as potential criminals.

@Cierzo Yes, there’s nothing more valuable for Human resources in companies than taking a look at workers’ online activity. Lol!

@Cierzo You mentioned something very interesting. Trying every user as a potential criminal. I understand your point.
Do you consider yourself treat as a potential criminal when you are asked for showing your identity card?

@twistermind It depends on the circumstances. When asked for it in the bank I do not, I understand it is necessary. But in the internet, the only reason I can find is that your political opinions are registered, and can be used against you.

@Cierzo I guess the IP address plays the same role as identity card in the net.
I admit that I’m asking about something I don’t know very much about lol! But, I’m very concern.
It’s hard to see how poor parents have to deal with a big dangerous field where theit kids are moving through.
I put myself in their shoes and I feel panic.
All we know young people sometimes lack of dangerous feeling and there are many predators hidden there.
