Germany. Hands down.
Japan has produced some classics but, they all tend to be rather homogeneous and kind of "plasticky".
Italian cars, for the general population, tend to be of poor manufacture. Even their exotic marques can be more than a little temperamental.
The Brits have some cool brands; Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin. But they are either owned by German brands or by consortiums of foreign investors.

@MrBrownstone One of the things that Germany has, which sets it apart from other nations (other than their national obsession for detail, accuracy and quality in manufacture), is their autobahns.
No speed limits! This means that German cars have to be built to be driven to the max. Because they will be.
