What new phone should I get?

I dropped my phone earlier today, and even though the screen didn't shatter, it's now refusing to turn on properly. It's an old and cheap smartphone anyways, so I'm going to just replace it. Had to bring out the old laptop just to be able to visit this website :P Any good suggestions?
