Most of my growing up years we didn't have a TV. My uncle left his with us for a year then took it back then another gave us an old broken set that we fixed up and used for a few years. I bought a TV when I was in college which was the first one I ever watched on a regular basis. I don't watch TV anymore.

We got cable when I was a teen, but it wasn't anything like the cable we see today. Our community was on the outer fringe of the "local" broadcasters, so a tower was built to better pull in and distribute the signals.

Yes, my family got cable when I was really young...probably around 3, back when the popularity was really blowing up.

Sometimes but my family usually didn't have it, so I mostly grew up with PBS Kids and Kids WB.

No I didn't have it till about 16 years ago, it was OK then but sucks now with too many reality shows...even the History channel is not like it was then.
