It's still a bit hard for me to wrap my head around why anyone considers these all that useful. I basically just place them in the same category as things like MS Office and Adobe Acrobat that people just use because they're there and they don't know any better.

When I'm using a PC, I don't use an assistant. It seems pointless. It works good for me on my phone, but that's it.
Keraunos · 36-40, M
Eh, that's probably fair. Even today, phones have such a crude and inefficient UI that I only use them for a very small range of simple tasks (rather how people who have gone completely over to phones were using PCs back in the '90s and '00s, come to think of it), so I'm seldom considering operating within those limitations when I think about things like that.

That whole assistant technology is creepy...

@SW-User I pulled into the pharmacy today. My phone started screaming, "HEY! YOU AT THAT PHARMACY? I GOT SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU!"

alexa because if you have the remote, you can say to it “simon says” and whatever you say after that that what alexa says. SO fun for pranks

None of the above
I don’t know. They all pretty much do the same thing the exact same way. The only difference is either the name or the operating system.

I got an Amazon Echo for Christmas. It’s fun to mess around with, or google stuff I don’t feel like typing lol. It’s pretty neat
