Was mathematic discovered or invented?

Yes and no.
Generally speaking, you'd get "different" mathematics with different starting axioms; we just decided on some set to use.
Or like ancient cultures, who did not yet have the concept of zero, and had to design their mathematics and logic around it. (Oddly enough a recent study purpoted to show that bees have a concept of zero)
Of course, that's somewhat obvious when you consider that "Mathematics is the language of nature". The analogy to language is not perfect, because in language for example, we indeed invented one way or other what "evil" for example is.
What mathematics describes seems to be more or less immutable laws of nature that have and are being discovered. Mathematics is an invented (and oftentimes imperfect) language to describe them.
