Can you believe this ?

I was just reading a news report about how a 7 yr old girl in the UK was being groomed (in a sexual way) by an AI (artificial intelligence) online. The police couldn't prosecute anyone because it's an AI. That's just a little bit insane isn't it ?.

Maybe they need to update their legislation but it seems like someone should be able to be prosecuted for that. Someone programs that AI. It was living in someone's computer. And it wouldn't surprise me if there isn't an AI at all but someone is just claiming that it was the AI doing all of it to avoid being prosecuted.
