Does anyone remember an old piece of technology called the MiniDisc?

@Helganvisari25 yes it is... that's the one i had. so THERE it IS. (the recorder had a crap mic switch adapter.)

it still works, but i have to transfer using other sony whatnots.... thankfully that works.

It never had a good market in the U.S. but was big in Japan. Pretty much replaced by the mp3 player.
