Is an apology from Apple for slowing down older iPhones good enough for you?

it shouldn't be..
the main reason for doing it was to avoid replacing batteries under warranty..
many owner's bought new phones as a result..

Apple is being sued for this..
they've offered "discount" battery replacement but i haven't heard that they'll reverse the software "fix" wich slowed down the phones to extend their battery life.

Nope. Just add it to the list of reasons why I don't use Apple products.

Dont use apple. But thier con of trying to push people into buying new products with that method they deserve to be shut down.

Nope, Apple has always been doing this to get you to buy new stuff, ever since the Apple II days. They come out with Apple II+ then IIe then... your old computer is useless after that.

What's it matter? They admitted it and nothing will come of it. They owe billions for tax fraud and patent infringement that they'll never pay. I am sure those silly enough to own one of their phones will be happy with an apology and battery replacement option.
