Anyone on here...terrified of Hurricane Irma?

Rightly so..of course!
Bubbles · 36-40, F
Yes, I am a floridian. Normally hurricanes don't scare us, this one is a different beast though.

@Bubbles I agree. Normally so what...but yes...this one is nuts and the path (if it happens) is even more insane.

@Bubbles Let us know how you fair when this one is over.

No. But then again I live in a brick house on a hill. The only thing I'm concerned about are my friends and family that live in the path. My driveway will get flooded and some asshat stole my boat so I'd be SOL trying to actually leave my house.

@okaybut Thanks.

@okaybut I will. 😎

Worried about friends in Florida, but it won't have much effect here in Wisconsin.

@goliathtree I can see that. Usually I am indifferent...but this one looks like a monster. I feel for the Flordians as well.

Utility Crews here are gearing up to head south for mutual aid. Trucks and equipment is staged and expect to leave on Monday.
I don't live in Florida or the southern states. Irma is a monster.. We may get her remnants.
Nature does not frighten me

@jetpack This one should...might be the biggest yet..and right down the fucking middle of Florida...insane.

Me 🙋🏻

Well, I'm very very nervous at least. Kinda excited but really not excited at the same time.
okaybut · 56-60, M
@getmeouttahere Which part do you live in?
getmeouttahere · 36-40, F
Tampa Bay Area. Wasn't looking too bad yesterday but now it looks like it's coming a lot closer. The only thing that really scares me is the tree over our house. It's a sturdy house but the tree is massive soooo we shall see what happens.

@getmeouttahere Normally you would be on the better side...maybe not this time. Good luck!!! Let us know how you fair.
At least they got the chance to prepare and escape if they do wish.

The people in Mexico couldn't escape the earthquake
unitX · 36-40, M
No, but people are acting like they aren't and trying to cover it up...
Water will reach 12 feet high, that is basically drowning people.
