This Momma Wolf Spider with the babies on her back won 2nd place at the CA Mid State Fair in the Insects & Bugs category. Spiders rule! Must be the legs[image deleted]

Ohh shit I had a wolf spider on my boat once, it climbed up my leg... I freaked the fuck out... broke the chair and the window in my boat trying to flee from that sucker it's like 6 inches wide leg to leg

@Fernie woos or wuss? I'm assuming your calling me a wuss... I am not afraid of spiders, but when the largest one you have ever seen crawls up your leg, your first thought is that thing is deadly!

@Tryingtofindabalance Oh yeah...wuss...my apologies. Nope, I don't scream and knock things over and flail my arms about (which will get you bitten) when a spider is on me. I remain still and calm until it moves on...never been bitten.

@Fernie have you ever had a 6" spider randomly crawl on you unexpectedly? I never did to that point and instincts kicked in... I jumped out of the driver seat, and up front to grab the net, hoping I can swipe that thing off with it,,, in the process I fell into the brace that holds a side of the window, and took that out

@Tryingtofindabalance you would drop dead if you knew the spiders I've LET crawl on me...wolf spider bites are extremely rare and no worse than a bee sting.
