Should men actually go to Mars?

I believe Mars at one point was already visited by beings and now the planet is totally destroyed. It would be a waste of time and effort to go to Mars now and visit a dead planet.

There are a few people on my list I would like to send.. But the science says there is no practical way to do it.. Even if you solve the logistics of even a one way trip, the exposure to unfiltered Solar radiation in space on the trip would kill you..😷
