I'll be making room for Science in my so called Learning times
I've never been too keen on this field, but today i've been watching some videos on YouTube, and that's where the love bug for it is for such as me.
The gateway for me is seeing how lively and entertaining, how fun and all round swell guy Neil deGrasse Tyson is.
What immediately led up to it is as you may know i've been getting as many free massively influential books around, last night was browsing The Great Courses for Science and that's what sort of got me thinking it might be neat to learn that kind of thing, then today i realized i didn't have any Isaac Newton in either of my eReaders, so got the Principia on Kobo Plus and i type it in at YouTube and a YT short of Neil pops up at the top. Now i've known of him before, but i always had thought of him as a meanie like my prejudiced idea of other major atheists, but what i saw is a energetic guy who can make me feel energetic right off, it may have helped that i have the videos set at 1.5x so it feels even more like a rush than what it would be at a normal speed, well his hero is Newton, and then i watch him in regards to Carl Sagan, and i really like Carl, 1st up for him was when he was on Johnny Carson, and wow, that was great.
So i felt like sharing my own little excitement of this much belated acceptance of Science, not so much in a nerdy way, but like a stoner finding something trippy. The things being done in the last couple decades are really trippy!!
This post is for August 12, so any further thoughts will be edited in below these words, have a lovely week y'all, and keep looking up ✨
