Despite all the news, politics and all that we obsess over...I just found out today scientist grew brain tissue as another means to create super computers? They used a method of stimuli that rewards and punishes it so that it is trained to do whatever it is tasked to do. I forgot what they're called, don't know who's doing this research, and I really need to fact check all of this. But if it's true...I mean reward and punishing a living organism they grew in a lab sounds like it's partially sentient or is sentient. Food for thought. I'll have to see if this is hogwash but it's something that came up in conversation, which is very concerning.
