Will you watch the Wallops Island rocket launch this Saturday?

Supposed to be happen sometime between 6 and 8 pm, Eastern Standard Time, and could be visible up to 600 miles away, weather permitting.

Update:
March 11 launch scrubbed because of high winds!

That’s the problem with rocket launches 🚀 everything has to go right and usually it’s at the last minute they call it off.@Poppies

@Repete Apparently this time they called it off in the morning. But last time I planned to watch one it was called off at the last minute.

It was late when I checked and yes I think it was called way before that.@Poppies

I didn't even know it was happening, but no that I do I'll probably catch at least part of it.

Thanks for reminding me of it. If I can I’m going to I've always liked watching rockets launch.
That's early hours here....

@TheSirfurryanimalWales I think you are too far away, anyway!
@Poppies but these things are often on you tube

@TheSirfurryanimalWales indeed. You can watch it when it's all over.

Haven’t been down that way since 2019. I always did like Chincoteague. Will have to make it over there again, it’s about 3 hours from me.

hmmm I seem to be a bit further from there than I am from Canaveral, but I could see a twilight launch at Canaveral from roughly 300 miles away ... so now I'm curious if under the right conditions I could see one from Wallops
