Are you a scientist or a credentialist?

Scientists never believe a narrative and always test by looking at as much evidence as possible both for and against the object of their research.

Credentialists believe that only those with credentials are to be believed. They hold that any evidence not stated by someone with credentials is not factual and are spread by conspiracy theorists or other ill informed louts that should be shouted down.

Sadly the credentialists were the ones who believed the earth was flat during the time of the enlightenment. While a few actual scientists disagreed with them. The scientists were proven right and the credentialists were proven wrong.
