Time doesn’t exist it’s a concept. Therefore we didn’t live within it to begin with
@DeluxedEdition So the meaning of 'Now' is a concept ?? Even if I experience it ?
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Messi all time is happening all the time. There is only the present. Time is a conceptual measurement from one given present to another
@DeluxedEdition So yesterday is not real anymore even thought I remember it ?
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Messi we can refer to yesterday thanks to the concept of time, but otherwise no yesterday is no longer tangibly real. only the present
@DeluxedEdition So as time is concept , it has no effect on us ? You're saying we never lived inside a time because it's not tangable? something not right there
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@Messi time doesn’t affect us though. Yes, we age but that isn’t a result of time that’s a result of natural bodily processes. Like cellular reproduction and the way our body responds to free radicals

And I’m saying we can’t live inside time because it’s a concept. You can’t live in something that doesn’t exist. If we were talking about a house that would be different

Politics are a concept, so is money. What would politics be without the belief that it’s important or necessary for a society? Money is a concept of value. What importance would money hold if man didn’t give it importance?

What’s really the difference between a fake dollar bill and a real one and why society treats one as legible and not the other when realistically they’re the same thing
@DeluxedEdition So you don't believe in time ? quite unique, do you believe in spacetime ? just curious. This thing called time is just a concept to you ? nice. The passing of time , is it just an idea to you too ? I'm not saying it's tangable but time seems to exist in my life. I experience time passing, I have a measuring device for detecting it. It's probably something that causes gravity in Time dilation, are you sure you're living in the same univrse as me ?

@Messi
So you don't believe in time ?
no, but i do obviously equally partake in the measurement from one present to another (aka measurement of time) because it's very necessary in society.

i dont really believe in space but i don't NOT believe in it. I believe we are on a plane, and everything (all of the dimensions) such as hell and heaven are connected through atoms and the bioelectric field.
I'm not saying it's tangable but time seems to exist in my life. I experience time passing, I have a measuring device for detecting it.
it seems to exist in my life too. people make it real. people give it meaning by using it and talking about it, and creating devices to measure it. It's a very useful invention. but to sit there and act like time is a real thing it is not. it is a concept that represents the distance from one present to another.

yesterday is no longer real. but it was real yesterday because it was the present you were experiencing it. now it's just a memory. same with the future. the future isn't real. we don't even know if the future is going to happen. the world could end tomorrow. the future is also a conceptual reference to present. usually a present we hope to create or change in some manner by altering our actions
@DeluxedEdition So do you believe that if something happens today and something else happens tomorrow, that it is not separated by something called time? And if time is not real, should everything not just happen at once ?
