How Does This Make Sense?

In my side of the world it's winter and lately it's been way colder than it's been in the past. Someone wrote an article saying the earth has moved a little away from the sun and I'm talking to people in other continents who are complaining about the unbearable heat in their countries.

Who is spreading these ridiculous lies?

After reading a lot from various scientific reports over the years, it's clear to me we are dealing with natural cycles enhanced/worsened by man's hubris and arrogance.

@Ontheroad That makes sense. I mean we've all witnessed the ignorance and hubris

Well here where i live in Australia i can confirm that last summer was the wettest and coolest summer i have ever experienced.. The current winter is also the wettest and one of the coolest winters i have experienced also..

Solar activity varies as well as the orbit.. But the orbit changes from a circular to an Oval orbit over thousands of years so the change is very slow.. The Suns power varies each 11 year cycle.. The Sun has the most determining effect on earths climate.. Large volcanic eruptions can also have dramatic effects.. I think the recent Tongan eruption in the south pacific kicked up more partials into the upper atmosphere then has been reported.. It may have started a cool period in the southern hemisphere..

@Adstar We're coming to the end of this age that's for sure. If only people could get their heads out of the sand and do what needs to be done to prepare for the next life which is way longer than the one we're living now.

@Adstar when Pinatubo blew up back in '91 it resulted in a very wet summer. Couldn't even raise peas.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Tastyfrzz Yep big volcanoes really have big effects.. I think Pinatubo effected both the northern and southern hemispheres reducing world temperature by an average of 1to 2 degrees Celsius for a year..
Ingwe · F
years back we've registered..... -11 degrees C

we haven't seen those temperatures yet

I hear how those guys over the big water, complain about 40degr C

at the hottest here we measure 50+C in the shade
and I.m pretty sure the gel in the eyes become runnier
karysma · 31-35, F
@Ingwe I don't think it's got anything to do with the Earth moving further away from the sun if you go from extremely cold to extremely hot
Confined · 56-60, M
The earth has moved a little. That is a small part of the climate change. The earth also has natural cycles. So mistly all is normal.
karysma · 31-35, F
@Tastyfrzz So very true 😭
Confined · 56-60, M
@karysma there was a underground nuke test in Nevada. Was the most powerful blast ever done. It did. Cause the earth to shift.
karysma · 31-35, F
@Confined Wow that's scary 😭😭😭
Just my opinion but I think heat and cold are just weather cycles that the earth naturally have the lies are anybody's quess
karysma · 31-35, F
@Bodymindsoul Do you also think that the winters and summers are way more extreme than they used to be or you can't tell the difference.
@karysma winters have been mild lately in my state summers are always hot
