Irrationally excited about a spider I found, don't mind me
She's a Uloborus glomosus, in the family Uloboridae, which is the only family of completely non-venomous spiders. They possess no venom glands at all, but use specialized silk and digestive enzymes to wrap and eat their food. There's only a few species in North America and you hardly ever see them, so this is very pleasing to my biology nerd brain. So happy she chose my cactus to live on 🕷️🖤
