Anyone Good With Stone Identification?

So I was thrifting today and I found this piece along with some other shells and coral. On one side it seems very much like a stone. Could be glass? Could it be something interesting or just a broken piece of a vase LOL? Opinions would be great. It's definitely iridescent. I don't think it has any value I just think it's gorgeous.

Oh wow! That looks exactly like Labradorite.

Gorgeous.

It is actually only found up here in Canada's Labrador region! So, yeah, a lovely, lucky find for you.

(I have some jewelry pieces containing this stone, so when I saw it, I knew immediately :) )

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Thank you!!! I am so happy I found it. I'm considering getting it shaped into a piece of jewelry but I almost hate to alter it:)
@ravenwind43 You are most welcome! :D

I wonder: If one uses the wire technique, would it even have to be altered?

I have a ring, actually it is a Labradorite stone and it's encased in the sterling silver wire, very cool.
