@rhouse Yes religion and government have this trait in common - neither likes things they cannot control. Religion invents 'God' and uses things like 'Bible' as the framework. Government creates laws. Religious people treat the Bible (or their religion's own version of it) as 'laws'.

@Carazaa And you have thereby proven one of the central tenets of modern christian religion wrong - that God loves everyone equally. If god kills, that makes God the Devil (as the other man-made antithesis of 'God), and the Devil is God. One and the same - not seperate 'good' and 'bad'. Oopsie.

I can be happy if I don't follow god and don't hurt people. That is a fallacy in your argument. You are stating that you must hurt others if you don't follow god. The first three commandments of the decalogue are about honoring an egomaniacal leader. If I break those three, who am I hurting. @Carazaa

I believe your bible says "The wages of sin is death." I know you didn't say it because you don't have an answer for why your god would kill a 3-month old...or an 80-year old for that matter. @Carazaa

@rhouse "The wages of sin is death" true. So it is so amazing that Jesus paid our ticket! Thank you Lord. He did not have to. He did that because HE loves us! He goes to prepare a mansion for us each he said. And he is coming very soon. I believe it is this year or by 2023.

You really are whacky. My neice died even though he paid for our sins. That is how much he loves us? Now he is coming back in the next 2 years. If he doesn't do you have an alternative date that you have picked out? That seems to be the modus operandi for cults that predict the end days. Many examples if you care to look them up. @Carazaa

I don't think many understand what happened when God banned us from the garden of Eden. God walked with us in the garden, but when they listened to Satan we were banned forever.

All of humanity is banned from God for eternity. We are doomed. There is one way
that we can communicate with him, if we get down on our knees and repent, turn from ALL our sins, and follow Jesus where-ever he wants us to go. We put him first, before family, house, money, and everything. Then God might save us and the Holy Spirit comes into our heart. Then we are part of the family of God and then he will listen to your prayers, and answer them.
