What's the difference between the rational science and blindfolded science?

Rational relies on the scientific method, where "proven" is a bad word and research can be done and undone over and over, constantly either confirming on changing the result. Science is not static, even the laws can be changed (though to become a law requires thorough vetting).

Blindfolded relies on consensus, group affiliation, and a lack of objectivity (politics, company, etc.)
