Taking syringe caps off with teeth

Why do people in movies aways take the cap off of syringes with there mouth? i dont think I've ever seen someone do that in real life.

I’m diabetic. Yes. It just means your so familiar with syringe and you won’t lose the cap and saves time… it’s an extra hand.
