I was 'pushed' into running when I started high school (it was a private boys school). My housemaster wasn't impressed when he found out I hadn't put my name down for any events in the sports day, so he kindly put me down for two running events. To my surprise and delight, I came 2nd and 1st respectively and that was the start of my love affair with running.
55 years on, I'm still running. I did it competitively all through high school, continued on after I finished school through the Old Collegians, university and with a local community running club. My pace may have slowed now, but I still get the buzz.

I'm keen to hear about anybody else who likes to go out for a run for whatever reason. Any targets set for the upcoming year and any achievements from last year or anything else of interest.
