There are the authors that exist to paint a picture through words of a world or a reality far removed form ours and exist to educate, inform, entertain, emote, and stir us to a passion in us.

There are the life coaches whose 5-14 talk to us once or twice a week can be life altering and alert usd to a universe and a reality we never saw before.

Lastly (not really but keeping this short)There are the counselors, therapists and psychoanalysis that without, many would be serious lost.

And they speak not (or not always) as you suggest.
