I feel hopeless

I think I'm doomed to be single for the rest of my life. None of my relationships worked. I have a hard time opening up to men. When I was 18 I met a man on EP and fell in love. Turned out he's a sociopathic narcissist who abused the shit out of me. Nobody understands me and nobody would. I'm a freak.

I'm sorry to hear that. I can confirm personally that there are well intended men out there, but they are extremely hard to find. I also feel misunderstood and struggle to open up.
