One night at a random place...

I was on a business trip and I wanted to get a few things from the grocery store to my hotel. It was one of the nights that I would never forget...

I saw you leaving the grocery store. Our eyes connected, stopped walking and just staring at each other. It's been years that we haven't seen each other. You look the same as always; beautiful. It wasn't a cold night but my whole body was shaking. I didn't know what to say, all words disappeared. I was seeing nothing but you at that moment.

Then I saw tears coming from your eyes. You turned your face and started walking towards to your car. Opened the trunk and started putting stuff in it. You were still looking at me and continue to cry. I took a step to you but you raised your hand up to asked me to stop. I stopped. Maybe there were lots of things to say but I just stopped. I felt that this is hurting you even though this wasn't planned. It was just being at the wrong place and the wrong time it felt.

I turned and started walking to my car. I wanted to turn to look at you but I didn't. I wanted to make this easy for us. I started driving away from the place. One more time we looked at each other. You placed your hand on your heart and waved me goodbye. Then I got a message from you "I love you so..."
