Makes two of us. Yes the Apache kickes as in close support. The A-10 Warthog is still most complementary to it in such a role. Tanks beware - still!

@Kuronekko: raptor is tops. Better even than the famed F-15C Eagle it's replacing. I can go all night on fighters - going back to WWI.

@TheStomachComforter: we got to see them hover, apparently it hadn't been demonstrated at an air show before. F-16's have some of the best sounds...but my favourite sound is a chinook, without doubt.
