@Goodguy1 my husband has been having an emotional online affair for many, many years... like 7+. I had no idea until he admitted it to me a few months ago. Then followed that up with he wants a divorce.
He is even still communicating with her. I always knew something was wrong and now I know.
It's sad, hard, heartwrenching... but you know what the F*CKING HILARIOUS thing is, I know the stuff he has told her is nothing but lies or a twisted version if a truth. He especially lied about me and convinced her I am some evil person.
Man is she going to be surprised.

I'd say this is/was just a fantasy on her part. If she wanted to leave you and ride together with her teen boyfriend into the sunset she would have done it. Perhaps you are taking it a bit too hard. How old are your children?
