I Had An Online "Affair"

My online affair told me he’s my soul mate my lover and my best friend . Yet when I needed to talk , someone to give me some hope in the middle of the night ( with time difference it’s his early morning) he tells me to go to sleep. I reached out and he not there when I really needed him.

Its an Affair .. exactly nothing more nothing less ..either you both are married or one of you are.. in a committed relationship you have the " being there" for one another..
in an affair , its fantasy not real..real life does not exsist,only good times ,no problems.. he was most likely dealing with getting ready for work..or the kids needed him or his wife.. NO ones soul mate is another persons spouse..its not love its limerance.. Affair Love.. when his wife finds out you will be dumped and thrown under the bus.. if your husband finds out..same thing only vise versa.

@Cheesecake 3% of married men do leave their wives for the affair partner.. only because its an exit affair..or the wife has thrown him out and he doesnt want to be alone after having "2" women at his beck and call..

@Cheesecake I used to think it was real but reality is an online affair is just compartmentalised. I reached out at a time I never do. And I was put firmly in my place. I have had some great advice here and plenty to think about .

@LindaM the damage also done to families and children. People should asses tgeir marriage before getting into an affair .. there are all of different types now.
