Are we members all logged on and gathered here in Adult Chat Rooms, reading and responding in real time like in the chat rooms of "olden times", or is this just another forum where we comment when we happen to be here?

In a live chat, when there are too many people, it is impossible to have a conversation as the text scrolls past too fast and there is no context.
In here, you can read the question, and take your time to answer. Much better, more fun, way more interesting.
If you find someone with an interesting comment, or something you agree with, you can friend them and have sideline conversations, also fun. It is also possible to discover the person is a pervert, or weirdo, or Trump lover and block them.

@JamesBugman I kinda liked the frantic pace of the dialog. It got tiresome after a while, but it made me feel like they were all clamoring for me. Vanity devours all comers.

LOL, but back then I'd have likely tried to please a trumper too. It was a level playing field in the naughty rooms.
