how do you handle it when there's a woman you like but are unlikely to ever meet or know in real life

there's a woman who i'm subscribed to on youtube, i have followed her for years now and i at times leave nice comments on her videos, and she loves them and sometimes comments back...she's from canada and i know i'm never gonna meet this woman or know her romantically and i find it depressing...the story of my life really....the girls who i fancied throughout my life were always 'worlds apart' from me.....i am from the uk.
