Have you ever ended up in a relationship with a friends with benefit partner? If so how did you end up in a long term relationship?

I was in a polyamorous relationship for a brief time and it was lovely until she added another partner. That's when her (now ex) husband and I realized that either/both she gets bored easy in relationships / wanted to collect partners like Pokémon. :/

Otherwise, I'm a naturally non-jealous person so hypothetically if this happened again I wouldn't be worried about it until said partner gave me reasons to be.
