Ask her if she'd like to go out for a coffee sometime. The worst thing is she'd say no and you could always shop at another store if either of you is embarrassed. But if you don't ask, you'll never know.
@Fluffybull that's what's been going round in my head. Should have taken the chance when she said what she did really 🙄 Don't know if I have the nerve either - especially in a public setting. I'm mostly on the introvert side, despite my maturity.
@anglais It's more difficult with other people around. You always think "what if they see me turned down?" But they're strangers, just customers in a shop, you probably will never see them again ☺️
