Missed a trick?

Cute female checkout operator, half my age. Very bright, chatty, friendly, quirky. We seemed to have a rapport right away. I make a point of going to her checkout whenever I see she's working - once or twice a week. She waves and smiles and says hi if she sees me around the store. I think about her a lot - but I really don't want to come across as some creepy stalker type. Hadn't seen her this week until today. She was her usual chirpy self. Asked me how my week had been and I said busy and a bit griefy. She said "I'm sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do to help?" I replied, flippantly, "Sell me a winning lottery ticket?" Carried on packing my shopping, paid. She said "See you soon". I said "See you next week".
Drove home. Been kicking myself ever since 😕🙄
