Why Hopeless Romantic?

I'm a hopeful romantic. I still believe in the connection of love. The feeling of being seen and appreciated for one's true self. To truly know someone, their wants, likes, passions. I still believe that romance is normal despite everyone saying hook-up culture killed it. I don't want empty meaningless encounters that are all physical. Does emotional and spiritual connection not mean anything anymore? It's really very sad. Too many horny perverts out there that need to grow up!
