Was he a crush or no crush? Like, is there regret?
I was the kinda girl who told someone who's trying to be close to me, "I'd love tobe friends but you can't fall in love with me" because he isn't my type...and tbh, I have had enough of boys trying to put a barrier on me kinda thing when it's obvious they like you. But thing is, you don't see them as love interests.
Then to my knight (my actual one who got away, though he doesn't know it) who still called me Queen right before, I said "You can't call me that anymore. Your bride deserves to be the only one who gets to have that title." So I let go.
Point is just do it. Sometimes, spontaneity is a thing. It also feels less stressful, cause no matter what end, at least you got your point across.
