A Frightening Awakening

I was half asleep when I entered the bathroom, too groggy to notice the snake on the floor. As I exited, the snake unexpectedly slipped between my legs, visibly frightened and seemingly performing a nervous dance. I was utterly terrified at that point, completely awake and alert.
