I Hate Snakes
Pet snakes don't make me the slightest bit uneasy, but I would flip a sh** if I encountered one in my backyard or on the sidewalk.

@irishblue: Unfortunately visiting Australia is on my bucket list so I'll just have to steer as far away from people's backyards' as possible and wear good running shoes in case I encounter them on the sidewalk although the cities I'm interested in visiting... Not sure if they'd have that issue.

I live in Melbourne and it's rare to see one here but we have a holiday house a couple of hours away that is close to a national park and they're quite common there but they're just as scared of us as we are of them 😉🇦🇺

No crocodiles there either, I bet? Those things also scare the shit out of me, but I'm more worried about encountering them in Queensland.

Yep, you only get them up north so you'd be safe here in Victoria
