I Love Reptiles and Amphibians

Today, a couple family friends and I were walking on the railroad tracks, outside. It was rainy with spotty sunshine. I came across a garter snake. Seemed like part of it's body had been smashed a little by something on the tracks, but it was moving well after letting it go. Next, I found a salamander, right about the same size as the garter, which i could estimate to an inch or 2. Very cute to hold in my hand as i walked up and down the railroad tracks. It happened to be getting sunnier as we walked back towards the house. I love a salamader's little feet. :D
