I was studying the Jig saw puzzle in geology

And it surely confirms with the Tower of Bable, that we know about.

I thought the Bible story was one involving a god getting pissed off with people working together and building a tower. The god got so pissed off that it made different languages. And stopped people working together.

@Thodsis Those people were not working together, those people were being greedy.

@JonathanSJ Being greedy for what? The story just talks about building a tower and this god being annoyed by it. Surely the god is being greedy for wanting the upstairs for itself?

@Thodsis Those people were building a stairway to Heaven. They were trying to get into heaven without death, so god struck them down -- destroying the stairway

@SunshineBlues But it's just a story. And a story that is used again and again by the priests or those who are modern day priests.

Essentially it says 'Don't try to understand your rulers. If you do then you will be punished'.

It's not a good story.
JonathanSJ · 36-40, M
@Thodsis if you see him as your ruler, you will not find him,

He wants to be seen as a Father.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
@JonathanSJ I don't. It's just an old story.

@Thodsis No tower,, no matter how high,, was going to reach up to God.. So God seeing people making this huge vain effort for nothing was not pleased.. And so decided to divide the people and move them all over the earth so that they would not waste their time on such pointless projects..
