Prayer for America and the World [I Believe In Prayer]

We shall, therefore, offer supplication in the divine threshold
that a great love may take possession of the hearts of men and unite the nations of the world.
We will pray that the ensign of international peace may be uplifted
and that the oneness of the world of humanity may be realized and accomplished.
All this is made possible and practicable through your efforts.

May this American democracy be the first nation to establish the foundation of international agreement.
May it be the first nation to proclaim the universality of mankind.
May it be the first to upraise the standard of the Most Great Peace,
and through this nation of democracy may these philanthropic intentions and institutions
be spread broadcast throughout the world.

Truly, this is a great and revered nation.
Here liberty has reached its highest degree.
The intentions of its people are most praiseworthy.
They are, indeed, worthy of being the first to build the Tabernacle of the Most Great Peace and proclaim the oneness of mankind.

I believe that those who seek justice, mercy, love and forgiveness all pray to the same God, regardless of the name, and to this prayer, I say "Amen, and Amen."
@Mamapolo2016 Amen to that sister. I believe the same; we are all leaves of the same tree, flowers in the same garden...no matter by what Name we call God, there is ONE...and yes, Baha'is pray alot for JUSTICE, UNITY and EQUALITY for and of ALL. ❤️

I’m not sure a nonChristian prayer is going to get you the support of the US crowd. They probably wouldn’t sit next to that guy on an airliner.
@Lapochka 😉 Do you think that is because Christians don't understand that PRAYER is involved in MOST religions; not just theirs? I am Baha'i. I can and do enjoy prayers of others but NO WHERE NEAR as much as I enjoy the prayers and believe that they have transformative powers if we will pray them. We have MANY Baha'is, .5M 10 years ago...many are not "on the books" as it might compromise families in Baha'i persecuting countries; like Iran.

To not sit next to someone that "prays different prayers"
can be a lot of things, but imho, "Christian" is not one of them.😂 Jesus ate with sinners. I'm sure the prayers of another religion wasn't offensive to him.

You may have as many as .5M in Russia today...you had 300K in 1990...
On 8 December-9 December 1990, the first National Convention of the Bahá’ís of the Soviet Union was held in Moscow with representatives of thirty-five Bahá’í communities present, twenty-three of these being in Russia itself.

@MsAlaineEYes I think there is a very fixed idea of what a “good American” is. Sometimes with good reason, sometimes misguided.
In Russia to a degree it doesn’t matter what you are so long as your loyalty to the state comes before your loyalty to your point of worship, whatever it may be.
