Prayers for peace and healing for the family
and loved ones of an 11 year old boy in my town who died following a sledding accident yesterday.

The death of a child is devastating, and in more ways than we can understand.
We can never know who he might have become, what he might have accomplished, what changes he might have facilitated.
The loss parents and family and friends experience is direct and enormous. The rest of us, though, may have lost more than we will ever comprehend.
We must cherish, teach and protect our little ones. Our future. The future of the world.
I send prayers for their peace and ours, and prayers for healing to us all.
