I Believe Religion Should Stay Out Of Public Schools

No religion should be taught as the truth in Public School.

I agree with your expansion, minus for British use the word "Public"*, but not headline.

I think pupils should be taught about religions to help them understand their own and others', different, beliefs and cultures; but certainly not indoctrinated in any one faith, nor insulated from or turned against any other.

*("Public Schools" in the UK are privately-run establishments teaching the same curricula as the State schools, many of them boarding-schools with day-attendees too. These charge parents the costly tuition and accommodation fees, though some also offer a few bursaries to promising pupils from the State education sector. The adjective is historical, recalling their being open to all who could afford them, when established many centuries ago as the only alternative at the time to hiring private tutors.

The State education schools are generally free for parents, apart from some nominal expenses like subsidised mid-day meal "Dinner Money", craft materials and the like. However the lines have become somewhat blurred as managing many English state schools has been hived off to so-called "Trusts" using poseur names like "College", "Academy" or "Federation"; middle-manager-esque waffle where "Trust" obscures their real identity as commercial contractors.)
