No religion should be taught as the truth in Public School.

@hippyjoe1955 Actually, i am not a believer in it.( i went primarily to Catholic schools and frankly would encourage any parent, of whatever religion, to send his or her kids to catholic schools because of the superiority of the education, the discipline and rigor, and the values.) The Constitution says no law respecting an establishment of religion and so public schools may not favor one religion over another (nor can they require a student to say the pledge of allegiance).

@laotzu92 In the US not in Canada. That aside you missed my point and that is that you can not eliminate religion. You can only switch one with another. Atheism/scientism is the dominant religion and it is required learning even in catholic/Christian schools.
